Cedric Jackson is heading straight to the Sky City Breakers training facility after returning from the Australian basketball league awards.
The American point guard is back in Auckland after being named to the league's first team at the awards ceremony in Melbourne.
Jackson says he and Tom Abercrombie have missed being with the team in the lead-up to Friday's semi-final series opener against Townsville.
"Definitely been eating away at us just not being able to get back on that court, but I'm pretty sure we'll probably get back on there in a few hours just to get some shots up and then hit the floor tomorrow."
Cedric Jackson finished fourth in MVP voting, something he attributes to the depth at the Breakers.
