New Zealand's first American-style shopping centre is to get a $50 million revamp in Auckland.
The New Zealand Herald reports plans are in place for LynnMall, which first opened in 1963, to get an entertainment precinct and cinemas.
As part of the redevelopment, the mall would grow to 47,000 square metres, similar in size to St Lukes.
New transport links, shared space, apartments and commercial space are also on the cards for the New Lynn suburb.
