Speculation over Maori Party's demise 'overstated'

By: Katie Bradford-Crozier | Latest Political News | Wednesday January 30 2013 7:33

Speculation over the demise of the Maori Party is being dismissed as overstated.

She says the media's compulsive fascination in predicting the death of her party after just nine years of existence, seems premature.

Ms Turia says they're determined to survive as a party, as a movement, and as a people.
