Second try for Peter's Reserve Bank bill

Winston Peter's bill to extend the focus of the Reserve Bank will be reconsidered by the House after being drawn from the Members' Bill Ballot for a second time.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Bill, which was defeated by one vote last year, would give the Bank scope to look at the exchange rate, as well as inflation.

It will be reconsidered on the next Members' day.
