Turner sentenced to life for Longley murder

Emily Longley's killer has been sentenced to life in prison.

At the Winchester Crown Court in the south of England Elliot Turner was found guilty of murdering the 17-year-old New Zealander and perverting the course of justice.

He's just been sentenced to life in prison, and will serve a minimum of 16 years.

The sentence was read in front of a packed courtroom which included Emily's parents Mark and Caroline, who travelled from New Zealand to attend the trial.
