Major changes ahead for Massey University's Manawatu campus.
The university has announced a $57 million overhaul of its facilities, which include relocating the College of Education from Hokowhitu to the Turitea campus.
The project will also see substantial upgrading and construction of buildings.
The university's vice-chancellor Steve Maharey says the changes will provide a better environment for students and staff to learn in.
"The buildings are going to be better, in the College of Education, for example, it's a chance then to rethink and modernise the layout of teaching spaces so they're looking forward to doing that."
The project is expected to take about five years to complete.
