The Golden State Warriors have made NBA history with their 73rd win of the regular season.
The Warriors have destroyed the Memphis Grizzlies 125-104 to achieve a 73-nine record, eclipsing by one victory the mark set by Michael Jordan and Luc Longley's all-conquering 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.
The Warriors, led by Steph Curry's 46 points, including 10 from 19 three-pointers, will play the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs.
The record regular season win sent fans of the Warriors into scenes of ecstasy, continuing a remarkable period for the franchise which included a Championship ring in 2015.Â
