Hundreds of thousands of high definition images that have been hand edited into a time-lapse video capturing the construction of One World Trade Centre across the past 11 years.

The video was shot by Time-lapse experts EarthCam.

The company's CEO and founder said it was their way of paying tribute.

"Dedicating the past 13 years to providing technology to create this time-lapse is our way of honoring the victims of 9/11." 

One World Trade Centre was finished on May 25, America's Memorial Day. 

All photos and the original camera have been donated to the National September 11 Memorial Museum.
