Tommy's Real Estate Sales Director Nicki Cruickshank told Nick Mills people are moving out of central Wellington as the housing stock dips and the capital's housing market becomes one of the hottest in the world.

It comes as soaring house prices saw the city ranked as the third hottest housing market in the world in the first quarter of 2021, according to the latest Knight Frank Global Residential Cities Index.
