Wellington golfer Daniel Hillier's on the cusp of securing a card on the European Tour next year.
Hillier, 23, needs to finish in the top 20 of the Challenge Tour's money list, at the end of the current season-ending finals in Majorca.
After an opening round of 2-under par, then a second round of 4-over, he's slipped out of the top-20 projected rankings.
But, with no cut at the tournament, Hillier still has two rounds to get back into the top 20 rankings.
At the halfway point of the tournament, Hillier's father Nigel, and coach Kevin Smith, joined Adam on the All Sport Breakfast.
