National's on a drive to encourage people to buy electric vehicles.
If it becomes Government next month, it'll set a target of getting 80,000 electric vehicles on the road in three years.
In that time a third of the Government's fleet will be electric, the vehicles will be exempt from road user charges and they'll be allowed to drive in bus lanes.
Leader Judith Collins says EVs willalso be exempt from fringe benefit tax for five years.
Collins says at the moment they attract the tax and if it's removed it'll be a huge incentive for businesses to change their fleets.
