The Prime Minister was mocked in Parliament this week for declaring she proudly leads a Government of infrastructure and of housing.

Jacinda Ardern struggled to be heard above the din.

"We are proudly a government of housing, and I say that firmly and proudly," she told the House, focusing her speech more on the previous Government's record and state housing rather than KiwiBuild. 

She also counted training and education in her speech, noting that apprenticeships have grown by 20 percent under her watch.

National's Simon Bridges told the House no infrastructure's been built.

"I thought we were going to have a facts-based campaign this year," Bridges said in his speech. "If you don't like what was promised, just change the target and pretend nothing happen."

The Government has promised to spend $12 billion on infrastructure, including on highway projects and improving rail networks, but is that enough to support their claioms?
