Some people have to work closely together, but few would have to be as intimate as those who together make up the head, body and backside of a horse.

That horse is Joey, the main character in the stage show War Horse, which is heading here later this year.

War Horse is the story of horse Joey and his young owner Albert set at the outset of World War One.

Rather than working with real animals, Joey is imagined as a life sized puppets, portrayed by puppeteers are Michael Taibi, Derek Arnold and Shaun McKee.

The three joined Francesca Rudkin to talk about the intricacies of playing the horse and the stage show itself.
