FOMO – Fear of Missing Out.  You all will have heard of the term and most likely experienced it at some point.

Now the man who coined the term way back in 2004 while a student at Harvard Business School has written a book about the term. 

Patrick McGinnis is he’s a venture capitalist, writer, speaker, podcast host, and general expert of FOMO, the dangers of it and how to avoid it.

And not just FOMO, he is also the creator of the term FOBO – or fear of a better option, which he describes as FOMO’s more anxious sibling.

He’s written a book – Fear of Missing Out – Practical Decision Making in a World of Overwhelming Choice. He joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss the terms and how to avoid feeling either way.
