With an increasing focus on recycling, reusing and reducing single use items – one Canterbury engineer is saving medical devices from landfill.

Oliver Hunt is the founder of Medsalv, a company that takes single use medical devices, repurposes them and sells them back to hospitals and health facilities.

Hunt’s company is the only company of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

He joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss how it works and what inspired his eco-friendly enterprise.
