It may be hard to believe but Irish rockers Snow Patrol have just clocked up 25 years as a band.
Originally a three-piece band that formed in 1994, the group slowly built up their reputation until their 2004 album, Run, launched them to prominence.
Then their single, Chasing Cars, came out in 2006 and quickly became their biggest song, gaining a massive recognition after it featured in the early seasons of Grey’s Anatomy.
Last year, they released their seventh studio album, Wildness, after a seven year break and this August they will return to Auckland for one night only, a decade since their last concert in New Zealand.Â
Lead guitarist Nathan Connolly has been with the band since 2002, and joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss their lengthy period of success and what fans can expect from their tour.Â
