December is the time when we start to reflect on the past year, and few organisations will be reflecting on 2019 as much as the All Blacks.

With many veteran players retiring from the side and a new coach to appoint, NZ Rugby has a lot of change to prepare for.

Freelance rugby journalist Jamie Wall has been there through it all. He’s spent the last year with the All Blacks, the trainings, the press conferences, the games and the result is a new book, Heroics and Heartbreak: Twelve months with the All Blacks.

From Yokohama Stadium against the Wallabies in October 2018 back to Yokohama and the dreaded game against the English at the World Cup.

He joined Andrew Dickens to discuss what happened over the last year, what’s next for the All Blacks, and what NZ Rugby needs to do to get them back on track.
