Schools were on the panellists minds this weekend in two different ways.
One mother made headlines after attacking a girl that was bullying her daughter.
She was discharged without conviction, but has sparked a debate over what can be done to curb bullying and what parent's should do in that position - and whether schools should be more to stop it.
Another education topic emerged from the story of a teacher who, despite having 40 years experience, is paid less than her colleagues as she does not have a degree.
Television producer Irene Gardiner and writer Liam Hehir joined Kerre McIvor to debate these issues.
