The Nobel Prize was awarded this week, but the prize has been overshadowed by talks of gender bias.Â
Donna Strickland was one of the three winners for the Nobel physics prize - becoming the first woman to win the prize in 55 years.
The news of her win saw the fact that Wikipedia had not considered her worthy enough for a page on the online encyclopaedia.
Dr Nicola Gaston from the Unversity of Auckland discussed the bias with Kerre McIvor and how things have turned out this way.Â
