Pukekohe Park Raceway has been confirmed as the venue for this year's Supercars SuperSprint round to be held in Auckland.

The historic track along with Hampton Downs were the two leading candidates to secure hosting rights.

The event is scheduled for November six and seven.

It will be the first time New Zealand has hosted a Supercars round since September 2019.

Destination Auckland general manager Steve Armitage joined Martin Devlin to discuss the news.
