Tonight sees a crucial match unfold between the Chiefs and Blues.

Both sides have struggled this season and are looking to secure their place in the playoffs.

Chiefs halfback Brad Weber told Martin Devlin that they need to win every game from here on out.

"We've got full faith we can make the playoffs. We've got full confidence that we can make it in."

He says that they are so used to being guaranteed a play off spot, and the struggles have pushed them.

However, he says it is incredibly satisfying that they have been able to turn it around.

The Chiefs have a slight advantage due to the return of Sam Cane. The All Blacks flanker makes his return from a long-term neck injury for the Chiefs in tomorrow's Super Rugby match against the Blues at Eden Park.

Cane says he's not allowed himself to over-think what's happened in the past.

He says it was a freak accident, and the chances of it happening in the first place, let alone again, are so small.

In the front row, Chiefs prop Angus Ta'avoa and Blues opponent Karl Tu'inukuafe are expected to scrum against each other during the game.

The pair have played together many times in the past and Ta'avao believes he knows just the way to put Tu'inukuafe off his game.

Ta'avao says he might chat to him about food to distract him as they both love talking about their food.
