All Sport Breakfast host D'Arcy Waldegrave:

The news we've all been waiting for was released on Thursday, we're getting our sport on again!
Under level 2, the mysterious physical exchanges of days gone by will be reignited as a dazed populace are able to pick up where they left off a couple of months ago.
The announcement to me was as significant as the one made back in early march when the NBA pulled the plug on their season. That to me was when it all got very real.
In essence though, we won't be picking up where we finished before lockdown. It's simply not possible. Social distancing, finances, crowds, to start with.
What we have now is opportunity. After the calamity of covid19, sport here and globally will be forced to dramatically change their models. This will be enormously uncomfortable considering humans natural hesitancy around change but for me, the embracing of a complete overhaul of sport from grass roots through to the upper echelon is too exciting to be frightened of.
I believe we all have a a part to play in this, we should not just sit in silence and let the power brokesr redevelop this space, because its our space, we need to be complicit in this enormous change.
Have a voice. Do what you can. Lead change from below.
We won't have this opportunity again, lets not waste it.
We maybe only a weekend warrior or a enthusiastic parent, but sport is our space, and it's our responsibilty to have our voices heard in theis stae of flux.
Don't muck it up.
