Campbell Johnstone has come out as the first ever openly gay All Black.
Johnstone last wore the black jersey in 2005, and we like to think we live in an enlightened egalitarian age, so the question that's been bouncing around today has been: is the news of the first ever openly gay All Black a big deal?
Grant Joyce is president of the gay and inclusive rugby club Falcons RFC. He explained to D’Arcy Waldegrave on Sportstalk why, to them, this is a big deal.
