Many sports have already returned after the Covid-19 pandemic's immediate impacts, but kiwi Motocross rider Courtney Duncan's still waiting to hit the track again.
Ms Duncan told D'Arcy Waldegrave they are set to return on September 6 in Turkey.
"Yeah that's the season restart, but as as you can see the world's in a pretty crazy position right now and things are changing daily. So whether that happens or not, time will tell."
Ms Duncan says she feels obliged to go, irrespective of the virus.
"I'm contracted to Kawasaki to race women's World Championship, and we I've got two more rounds.
"I want to go, I want to be world champion again. There's an opportunity for m to become a back to back world champion and that's what I want."
The kiwi will race in Cromwell on Sunday - her first taste of the sport since the international circuit was suspended in March.
Duncan is the current series leader after two rounds, with a total of four races remaining.
