It seems very appropriate for 2020, that one of the most ‘viral’ people on the internet is a monk-turned influencer-turned-life coach.  
 
Jay Shetty was at business school, fixated on building wealth, when he went to see a monk speak. He was fascinated, dropped everything, and became a monk himself. 
 
He’s now using the skills that he learned to ‘make wisdom go viral’ thanks to his online audience of 20 million fans, video views of more than 4 billion, and a podcast reaching a million people a day.
