If you are a woman born in New Zealand in 1959, you can expect to live until about 73 years old.

But if you were born in 2019, you can add over 10 years to that number.

Life expectancy is increasing worldwide, but what can we do to make the most of the extra life we have?

Carl Honoré has captured the world’s attention with his international bestseller “In praise of slow” which has made him the voice of the ‘international slow movement.’

Carl travels the world teaching individuals and organisations how to thrive in a fast world – by slowing down.

He has written the book Bolder which looks at how we can improve quality of life through our middle years and stay engaged in our later years.

He joins Francesa Rudkin to reveal his secrets and knowledge on what it takes to get the most out of life, and how making little changes to our daily routine can make all the difference.
