Every Friday morning, Mike Hosking takes you through the big ticket items of the week and lets you know what he makes of it all.

Here's a taste of what he reckons.

Julie Anne Genter and Speed Limits.

1/10.

"Yet more ideologically driven humbug from zealots that don't have a clue, but a very big agenda.

As for Julie Anne Genter telling us the vast majority want lower speeds, she will literally make anything up."

Jacinda Ardern's Cabinet Reshuffle.

3/10.

"Tick tick tick.

It was February, then it was after the budget, now it’s the end of this month, or it could be July.

How's that year of delivery going for you then?"

Trump in the UK.

8/10.

"All things considered, it was a quality visit.  Say what you like about him, but he gets the world's attention.

The Royal Family fell over themselves with hospitality, a pivotal point of history was commemorated, there were plenty of one liners.

And he, for him, didn't really do a thing wrong."

The Queen.

9/10.

"While so many froth, and huff and puff about a bloke like Trump, she has seen it, them, and him 1000 times before.

She is such a high quality operator, and that’s before we got to that speech at Portsmouth.

And God bless the fact we celebrate her birthday with a day off."

Gabriel Makhlouf.

2/10.

"The Irish have piled in. What a miserable way to end your tenure.

And it's far from over, what a fantastically long month June will be for him."

The Blackcaps.

8/10.

"Two from two, is two from two. Stats don’t lie it's an awesome start to the World Cup.

And Afghanistan this weekend, so we should make it three from three."

Booing David Warner and Steve Smith.

2/10.

"No, what they didn’t wasn’t cool.

But neither is being a knob and not letting it go."
