Stuart Nash: Does National train staff in how to record each other?

A Labour Minister is wondering if the National Party is training people how to record their colleagues.

Stuart Nash made the jibe this morning, after another week of leaks and accusations have emerged from the Opposition.

It emerged over the week that two former staff members have accused National MP Maggie Barry of bullying behaviour.

Fellow National MP Mark Mitchell told Mike Hosking he feels sorry for Barry as former staff members air their claims

"A whole lot of people in the shadows sort of wanting to throw bricks at her. How would any of us feel if that situation was to happen?"

But Labour's Stuart Nash says he's not so sure that Maggie Barry is as pure as the driven snow.

"There are a couple of people out there, at least two out that we know of, who feel they have a genuine take of being bullied. So I'm not going to stand up for Maggie and say she's a victim here. I think perhaps you may find, if you dig a little deeper, these people are the victims."

He says that no one in Labour tapes their colleagues, and they just get along with each other.

Both MP's say that they wouldn't record colleagues because they are useless with technology.
