Board of Trustee chairs have joined the fight for better pay deals for primary school principals.
More than 750 chairs have signed an open letter to the Education Minister, calling for a fair deal for principals.
They rejected their revised pay deal last month, which teachers accepted.
Balmoral School board chair Sonya Singh told Mike Hosking primary principals need parity with their intermediate and secondary counterparts.
She says principals are the bedrock of the community.
‘Primary principals need parity with their intermediate and secondary counterparts. We want to support our principals.”
Singh says they're not looking for so much money that the government can't resolve it quickly.
“From my understanding as a board chair, what we are asking for should be an easy fix, it shouldn’t be difficult at all”
