NZ Rugby are investigating Black Ferns coach Glenn Moore over allegations from a player that he contributed to her mental breakdown and problems over the last eight years. Â
32 test hooker Te Kura Ngata-Aerengamate alleges Moore told her she didn't deserve to be in the team, was embarrassed for her, he couldn't tell her worth to the Black Ferns and that she was only selected to play the guitar. Â
She was also yelled at for how she played certain aspects of the game. Â
Former All Black, former Super Rugby coach and mental health advocate Sir John Kirwan told Mike Hosking whether or not the allegations are true, there is a bigger issue at hand in terms of mental wellbeing.Â
"I think the biggest thing here is mental health in our sports people, I think its pretty prevalent right across the world."
