A prominent businessman is warning Kiwis overseas are becoming disaffected. 

From November 14, MIQ stays will halve from 14 days to seven, followed by isolation at home for three days. 

The Government says it will free up about 1500 rooms a month in MIQ.  

But, CEO of Animation Research Sir Ian Taylor told Mike Hosking a year and a half into the pandemic and we're still using the same tools. 

“The damning thing from yesterday’s MIQ announcement was the complete absence of any thought the thousands caught overseas.”
