An epidemiologist says testing for Covid-19 should include those who show no signs of the virus.
The Government has opened up testing to those with symptoms who haven’t had a history of travel or exposure to someone with the illness.
Auckland University epidemiologist Simon Thornley says told Mike Hosking widening the net is very important.
"In Iceland, there's been a large number of asymptomatic people who've tested positive for the virus, but have had no contact with a known case."
