A report has found just five extra acute beds have been added to our mental health system since 2019.
The Government announced 1.9 billion dollars as part of its 2019 Budget, with $235 million allocated to building mental health and addiction facilities.
Nearly all of it has been committed, but how much has been spent is a mystery.
Mental Health Foundation Chief Executive Shaun Robinson told Mike Hosking it's disappointing.
“I think the rollout of all the things the government committed to in 2019 has been erratic.”
