Should workplaces be doing more to address mental health?

The people behind Movember are encouraging businesses this month to finish up early every day to allow employees to use the traditional happy hour time to discuss their mental health.

Movember foundation manager Robert Dunne told Mike Hosking that this is very much a men's health campaign.

He says they want to encourage men to know their family history more and have a stronger connection with their doctor.

"That type of behaviour is going to help any significant issue men are facing."

He rejected the suggestion that the mental health crisis is a self-created problem.

"Over the last few years, there has been a massive weight of people acknowledging the issue and wanting to help out."
