The Warriors latest loss has turned a spotlight on the NRL’s referees.

The refereeing on the New Zealand side’s 24-22 loss to the Eeels has been labelled one-sided.

Warriors CEO Cameron George wants accountability over the questionable decisions, and he has urged fans to dress up as refs this Friday.

“If we can get them all to the game on Friday night and let's give Canberra give them a bit of their own back in terms of what New Zealand's all about, and they can bring a whistle if they want and have a bit of fun with it.”

Former Kiwi’s player Richie Barnett told Mike Hosking that this is becoming a serious issue.

He says that this is bias more than incompetence, which has first an issue a decade ago.

"Now it's resurfaced and I thought the two refs that they include would have made a difference, but it hasn't."

Barnett says that the Warriors are being impacted badly by the bias, and are now in a tough position for the next six games.
