New Zealand has a good reputation for shipping live cattle exports, without any hiccups.

A review's underway into whether the practice, which brought in nearly $30 million last year, should be banned.

PGG Wrightson general manager of livestock, Peter Moore, told Mike Hosking says he's not surprised at the move.

Moore says we also need to remember that New Zealand's had a great record of exporting breeding stock to other countries with minimal issues.
