Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she and her coalition partners have had to swallow a rat or two.
Today marks a year since the coalition government was sworn in and the Prime Minister says wile there have been compromises end the end that's what voters asked them to do.
Speaking with Mike Hosking Ardern said she is extremely proud of what the coalition government has achieved.
"We are a majority government, representing the majority of New Zealanders views and so that is in its nature, there will be compromise."
