A gin shop in the English town of York has banned cheesy Christmas songs for the sake of staff morale, the owners have said.
York Gin has banned all Xmas songs after the 1960's to boost morale of their staff.
They say having to listen to the likes of Mariah Carey and Michael Buble for hours on end every day would ruin Christmas, and they are after a less pop sounding playlist for their store.
