Dairy prices are back on the up.  

At the latest Global Dairy Trade prices were up 4 percent, the biggest increase in six months.  

The average whole milk powder price also went up 3.3 percent, this is the number that has the biggest impact on Fonterra's farmgate milk price, and is now 24 percent higher compared to this time last year.
