Taupo BMX rider and world record holder Jed Mildon and FMX rider Nick Franklin are back in the new Zealand for Big Boys' Toys which is on in Auckland this weekend.

The pair joined Mike Hosking to discuss the good and the bad of the dangerous sport.

Mildon became the first person in the world to do a triple backflip on a BMX bike on May 28 in Taupo - a stunt which has attracted more than 7.2 million hits on video sharing website YouTube.

When asked whether he thought he would ever beat his record, Mildon said, "no, probably not".

However, he says he "knows a few people who could do it".
