There's optimism around businesses as they look ahead over the next 12 months. 

Employment agency Hunter Campbell's survey of Chief Financial Officers reveals that 42% expect challenging conditions over the next year, but still see growth opportunities. 

Only 16% are feeling fully pessimistic. 

Hunter Campbell Managing Director Lee Marshall told Mike Hosking there's a surprisingly strong outlook. 

He says there's a lot of focus on internal matters as well, like work culture and talent.
