One Auckland Council member says we need to keep holding diverse vaccination events to keep hard to reach people interested.
Josephine Bartley, the councillor who suggested KFC carparks could be used for vaccination centres, says she's positive we can hit the 90 percent rate if we keep trying.
She's supported events organised for everyone from school mums to Black Power members.
Bartley told Mike Hosking it's a winning strategy.
She says she's seen people first hand get the jab because of these types of events.
“It actually does work. I’ve seen people on the fence go and get vaccinated because somebody in the gang or someone in the school mums suggested that they do it.”
