A man who sailed on two victorious America's Cup boats is adamant the event should stay in New Zealand.
40,000 people descended on Auckland’s waterfront to celebrate last night's victory.
Sailor and former coach, Joe Allen, told Mike Hosking we should keep it here and it should be sailed in the same boats.
He says it worked incredibly well and surprised a lot of old yachties.
"A lot people had their doubts about it, but it really was a breathtaking event."
