Phil Twyford might finally be listening to the people when it comes to housing.
The Housing Minister has met with the people behind the Kiwibuy initiative and is now considering several proposals, including a 'Rent-to-Buy' scheme.
The Salvation Army and NZ Housing Foundation led programme currently puts more people in homes per week than the Government.
Kiwibuy campaign chair Campbell Roberts told Mike Hosking Twyford appears open to the idea.
He says it's certainly a better use of the two million dollars that's been invested in Kiwibuild.
