An expert says keeping alarm clocks out of sight could help you sleep better.  

Studies overseas suggest technology before bed is not a good mix.  

They show avoiding it can provide a better and longer slumber.  

Sleep expert Dr Alex Bartle told Mike Hosking seeing the time next to you as you're trying to sleep can have a negative impact.  

"In fact, what we often suggest is that you put your alarm clock out of sight, and out of reach."
