A PR expert says the people at Saturday night's influencer party deserve to be dumped by those who support them. 

Attendees at the gathering on Auckland's North Shore were seen dancing and kissing in videos posted to social media. 

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and will appear in the North Shore District Court on Friday.  

PR expert Deborah Pead told Mike Hosking brands don't want to be associated with bad behaviour. 

“It’s not just influencers, movie stars, sports stars, they’ll be dropped at the first sniff of a scandal.”
