The Blackcaps are confident they are fully prepared ahead of the opening match against Sri Lanka on Saturday.

New Zealand batting coach Craig McMillan told Mike Hosking adapting to the different conditions throughout England will be a key factor for the team.

"The warmups certainly helped adjust to the pitches, everyone had a good hit out and the bowlers got some overs under their belt."

McMillan believes India and England have been the in form sides, but as we have seen in previous World Cup's, every team has a chance.

"You will have the best four teams in the semi finals, that hasn't always happened in previous tournaments. We have beaten all the teams we are up against in the past, so there is no reason why we can't do it again."
