An entertainment battle has emerged in recent times: Subbed vs Dubbed.  

The extremely popular Squid Game has reignited the discussion after complaints that the English dub over lost a lot of the emotion and character growth.  

A lot of the big shows now are foreign, meaning subtitles, or a terrible dubbed version that gets widely panned.  

But the most common complaint with watching Squid Game with subtitles is that it flashes across the screen too fast.  

Can you train yourself to be able to watch a show with subtitles? And does it actually help the learning in the long run?
