Black Caps seamer Lockie Ferguson joins Mike Hosking to talk about his side's dramatic loss in the Cricket World Cup final.

England have lifted the trophy for the first time, with victory after a super over. Although both side's finished equal after the extra over, England won based on hitting more boundaries.

Ferguson says it's a tough pill to swallow, but he's proud of the team.

"Unfortunately it wasn't our day."

While the tie-breaker of more boundaries is proving controversial, Ferguson says they were fully aware of them.

"The rules are the rules and we knew them going into it."
