Australian correspondent Steve Price joins Mike Hosking to talk about the latest from across the ditch, including the government coming under fire for telling older citizens to work longer.

The average age of retirement in Australia is 63, and access for the pension will go up to 67 by mid-2023.

Price says Treasurer of Australia Josh Frydenberg was criticised for labelling the older population an "economic time bomb" and they can't keep paying them, suggesting they stay in the workforce for longer.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison will deliver a speech tonight to the business council, bringing forward $3.8 billion over a four year period of infrastructure spending.
